JUST TALK BUT PROMISE NOTHING ELSE
Yes, you've read that right, this is another post, we're going to talk about video games of course, and I'm going to make some promises and set some goals for projects and stuff that I'll never finish, and I'll add some more playlists, because I want your PC/Laptop to fuckin' crash as it tries to load like 6 playlists at the same time, and when it does load it looks like a 16 year old girl's myspace, because on the inside, I'm just a lonely 16-year old wannabe scene girl.
Hey, remember that one time when I said I was going to make three different layouts? Well, here is a small preview, or what's left of RG Rockin' because I am terribly unmotivated to do
anything productive or cool. I got the idea from a friend's design and was making it as a joke to counter his, but I never finished. It's a little screwed up everywhere because it's REALLY, REALLY HARD to take a good fucking picture of myself that I can change into something good. As far as drawing with the pen tool and tracing I still need a lot of practice. As a thumbnail and over a rendered background it looks good, but at 100% it looks a little weird and squiggly. The back part of the hoodie is off, and the bat is a little too small, I was obviously really fucking confused when it came to the minor details on the hoodie too (click the thumbnail for a larger version).I also added 3 playlists which were supposed to represent each of the themes. The only hard part is that projectplaylist is pretty much the worse site ever (why do I use it still?) I searched for the Beatles, and with the exception of a few songs, all Beatles songs are replaced with the Across the Universe soundtrack, AND there's no Pink Floyd whatsoever. I raged even harderthat that one time with the Zeppelin/Godsmack Good Time Bad Times thing. Anyways here was my basis for the designs/playlists. THE PLAYLISTS ARE ON THIS SIDE -->
Love - pink/black: The selection of songs is supposed to represent the different stages of being in love and in a relationship I guess. It goes from 'OH GOD, I'M SO IN LOVE AND I HAVE DEEP FEELINGS (emo, punk, etc)' to 'FUCK YEAH SEXY TIME(rap/RnB/pop)' to 'CLASSIC ROCK LOVIN TIME' to 'OH GOD, I'M SO FUCKING SAD AND MISERABLE'. I lol'd
Rockin' - black/white: I might change this. Right now it's basically all classic rock songs but I might eventually re-work it to a playlist that features songs that I think have epic guitaran. The theme of Rockin' is based around a guitar
Gaming - green/white: It's supposed to be crazy fast, random, epic, stupid, meaningful, it has to be everything at the same time, or basically what I listen to when I game. The only problem with this is that it will probably end up exactly like the Rockin' playlist.
Maybe once school gets started or I get motivated/depressed again I'll make something good, then you'll see.
You know what I changed my mind about talking about video games I'm feeling another d-d-d-double post.
RISE AGAINST:
SCREAMAN
PICKSLIDAN
STRAWBERRY WHIRLAN
I went to another Rise Against concert. First off, I just want to say for the record, that I apologize everything I ever said ever about their Revolutions Per Minute album. That fucking album is credit to team and it's easily my favorite album now. The track for track balance between emotional punk and fucking hardcore is commendable, plus there is no retarded Swing Life Away/Hero of War acoustic bullshit. The only negative thing I can say about it now is that they put in quotes from American Beauty in one of the songs. Anytime I think of American Beauty I think of plastic bags blowing in the wind and the guy from The Bourne Supremacy trying to make out with Kevin Spacey. Again, if you say you like Rise Against, but your favorite song is Swing Life Away or Hero of War, guess what? You're a tremendous faggot. Just like this guy.
It was either this or a picture of Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor screaming WRONG! If I had the time and patience I would've made an epic YTMNDNotes about this setlist: I stood behind the sound table for the whole concert, and I noticed the setlist on the table so I copied it down into my phone because I never would have remembered those 20 songs. The version of Everchanging that they played was the acoustic version, and Prayer of the Refugee and Ready to Fall had extended ass-rape drum and guitar solos.
A long time ago, I made a post pretty much ranking every Rise Against song and album from best to worst. Well I'm making some revisions RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
