I HAVE PRETTY MUCH GIVEN UP ON THIS POST. I FIGURED I WOULD POST WHAT I GOT IN THE ATTEMPTS OF COMING BACK TO IT SOMEDAY.
And I don't want to talk to a scientist, y'all motherfuckers lyin' and getting me pissed.
So yesterday, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 was announced. While I pretty much have no skill when it comes to fighting games (other than Soul Calibur), I'm really excited for this. I am hoping that Capcom will do what they will did with Street Fighter IV and make it a little bit more accessible for newer players, because when I played MvC2, the learning curve, was fucking ridiculous. The only thing that I know is Hyper Viper. I don't really know how to activate Hyper Viper. But I know as soon as I see Cable come out, it's over. Plus for some reason, the AI is a little bit ridiculous at some times in both MvC2 and Street Fighter. Trying to beat Arcade mode on the easiest setting can become a fucking chore. This isn't the arcade version. I don't have to put quarters in my 360 in order to play, stop being such a fucking asshole. To quote a legendary thread:

Now until we get a confirmed release date on MvC3, we now get to engage in the speculation shitstorm over which characters are going to be in and out. There were about 56 fighters in MvC2, and the current build for MvC3 that had been shown at the Capcom conference claimed about 30 fighters.

That's a pretty damn good start. Would've preferred to see Spider-Man, but that's okay because I'm pretty sure he's a fucking lock to be in the game. But anyways, here's my take on who should be in the game
Capcom Side
*Street Fighter - In MvC2, 12 out of the 28 playable Capcom characters were from Street Fighter. That's fucking ridiculous considering they have their own series of FUCKING FIGHTING GAMES. It should be a celebration of the Capcom universe and just not a Street Fighter circle jerk
-Chun-Li - pretty much already confirmed
-Akuma - because 'zomg dark evil guy that can hadouken' will always be relevant to 12 year olds
-M. Bison - (insert Bison dollars reference here)
*Resident Evil - Chris is already there, and I'm okay with this, but I wouldn't mind so much the addition of more Resident Evil fighters, but so help me god if fucking Sheva is in over any of these 3 I will fucking boycott the game. I don't mind her as a support character because now I am tsundere for Sheva after Fairytale Sheva in The Mercenaries Reunion
-Leon S. Kennedy - The S stands for smooth motherfucker.
-Jill Valentine - RE5 Stars Jill has that fucking hat. Battlesuit Jill would be even better.
-Albert Wesker - (insert Complete Global Saturation reference here)
*Mega Man - This can be difficult. There are several different incarnations of Mega Man, and I really really, reeeeeeallllllly hope they pick the right one, or two. There are only three correct answers to this:
-Mega Man - like the one included in MvC2, traditional Mega Man
-Zero - from Mega Man X, he was in Tatsunoko vs Capcom
-Mega Man Volnutt - The main character from Mega Man Legends/MM64, also in TvC
-Frank West
-Arthur
-Strider
Anything that is not from these 3 universes is automatically disqualified. No Battle Network, No Star Force, nothing. There are the only 3 that should be accepted and you should feel bad for thinking otherwise. As epic as Servbot can be sometimes, in the new style this is being presented in I think it would go just as well as Yoda in Soul Calibur, which is not very good at all.

Fuck, I lost my shit at Batman Beyond. I don't really know too much about most comic books, so I apologize. Let's hope that Disney doesn't try to force their shit into our game so we end up with fucking Goofy or some shit. I'm happy with the basic Marvel staples, let's try again.
